Frequently Asked Questions

Where does therapy take place?

I come to you! Therapy can be in your home or at the child’s daycare.

What does a therapy session look like?

Early Childhood Language sessions are play-based and include authentic communicative interactions. Therapy sessions are customized to your child’s needs and interests and create a communication-rich environment.

Speech sessions focus on improving awareness and motor planning of specific speech targets. Activities will be selected to keep your child motivated and engaged on the speech targets being addressed each session. Home-programming will be provided to continue working on speech targets throughout the week to maximize therapy progress.

How do I pay?

Services are private-pay and can be paid via credit/debit card, HSA, or FSA. Upon parent request, Happy Day will provide a Superbill that can be submitted to insurance for potential reimbursement, however, Happy Day does not guarantee reimbursement and does not directly contact insurance companies.

How long are sessions?

Phone consultations are 15-20 minutes, evaluations are 60-75 minutes, and treatment sessions are either 30 or 45 minutes. Length of treatment sessions will be determined based on child’s individual needs.

When are sessions held?

Sessions can be scheduled directly with Taylor and may be during the week or on the weekends. Reach out to discuss current availability and what will work best for your family!
