About Happy Day
Happy Day Speech Therapy provides pediatric speech therapy services for children in Sioux Falls, SD. Therapy is provided in the comfort of your home or your child’s daycare, and sessions are customized to your child’s unique needs. Happy Day strives to provide impactful face-to-face sessions as well as resources to continue supporting your child’s speech and language outside of therapy.
About the SLP
I’m Taylor, MS, CCC-SLP and the founder of Happy Day Speech Therapy. I’ve been a pediatric speech therapist for over 3 years and created this practice in order to specialize in the areas of speech pathology I’m most passionate about: early childhood language, speech sound disorders, and childhood apraxia of speech.
It’s my goal to create a fun, meaningful experience for your child to improve their communication skills. I work to find motivating activities that will help them to stay engaged and get the most out of speech therapy.
I received my master’s degree in communication disorders from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and I’ve worked with pediatric patients my entire career. I’ve completed various continuing education courses to further my knowledge and expertise with the pediatric population including: Taking Theory to the Floor, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), and Meaningful Speech.

A phone consultation is a free service that allows us to discuss your concerns and determine if Happy Day is the right fit for your child and family.

An evaluation includes a parent interview and an assessment of your child’s speech and language skills to determine the best treatment plan.

Treatment sessions are 30 or 45 minutes long and are customized to your child’s unique needs. Early childhood language treatment sessions are play-based and help your child to improve their communication skills. Speech treatment sessions are focused on specific speech targets to improve your child’s speech sound production and overall speech intelligibility.
